Sex And The Web

Today a Howard University Coach Joseph Okoh was arrested for trying to solicit sex from a 13 year old girl via the web.

Okoh has been charged with one Felony count of communication to solicit a person under 15 years old with lascuvious intent.

The coach did not know that the person on the other end of the line was actually an undercover Louisa County Sheriff on the other end of the line.

Okoh is being held without bond at the central Virginia Regional Jail pending a bond hearing on Friday.

First, the man obviously has issues if he wants to engage in sex with a 13 year old girl. And, why did he go on line? Didn't he ever watch Stone Phillips on dateline and observe how everyone got caught by decoys on line.

What more can I say, shame on him.

Hell Date


BET has a show on called Hell Date. It is a show that has unsuspecting daters being paired with Actors who make the date unbelievable.

For,example in one episode a cast member Shonda plays a spoiled daddies girl who likes to get freaky in her fathers house when he's not around.

Shonda and her date are in the living room with her father and she asks him to get her purse from up stairs. While the fathers gone Shonda gets on top of her dates and pulls out a condom. The date is on board until the father returns and asks why is my daughter on top of you and how can he disrespect his home.

As the father continues to yell the Hell date mascot (a little person in a devils costume) sneaks up on and tells the male dater "Hey, you on hell date."

I have watched a few episodes and all of them have been hilarious.

Ruby Dee Gets Oscar Nod

Ruby Dee has been nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role in the film she starred in with Denzel Washington called American Gangster. She plays his mother who he relocates from the south with the rest of his family. Ruby Dee has had an extensive career in theater and film.

Ruby Dee was born Ruby Ann Wallace in Cleveland, Ohio. Her father, Marshall Edward Wallace, was a porter and waiter on the Pennsylvania Railroad; her mother, Emma Wallace, was a schoolteacher. They moved to Harlem in New York City when Ruby was a baby. She was educated at Public School 119 and Hunter College, and her formal education was supplemented by instruction in classical literature and music at home. Although asked to leave Hunter College when her activities at the American Negro Theater—a Harlem group which also included Hilda Simms, Harry Belafonte, and Sidney Poitier—took up too much of her energy and time, Dee graduated in 1945 with a bachelor's degree in French and Spanish. She worked briefly as a translator for an import company, but her extracurricular activities soon became her career.

Dee's work has run the gamut of entertainment media: she has acted on stage, film, television, and radio, and she has recorded poetry. Her Broadway debut, a walk-on part in South Pacific (a play about World War II that appeared before the Rogers and Hammerstein musical), came in 1943, while she was still at college. Only three years later, she appeared on Broadway in Jeb (1946), opposite her husband-to-be, Ossie Davis. They married in 1948 and have collaborated closely ever since. Dee achieved national recognition in the title role of Anna Lucasta (tour, 1946-1947). She went on to principal roles in A Raisin in the Sun (1959); Purlie Victorious (1961), subsequently filmed in 1963; and Athol Fugard's Boesman and Lena (1970), with James Earl Jones, for which she won an Obie in 1971. As Kate in The Taming of the Shrew (1965), and Cordelia in King Lear, she became the first black woman to play major parts in the American Shakespeare Festival. Most recently, she has appeared in Two Hah Hahs and a Homeboy (1995) with her husband and her son, Guy Davis.

Dee has appeared in over 20 films, most importantly as the baseball player's wife in The Jackie Robinson Story (1950), with Sidney Poitier in Edge of the City (1957), and in Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing (1989). Her television work is more extensive, including many guest appearances, the series With Ossie and Ruby (PBS, 1981), and dramas such as Long Day's Journey into Night (PBS, 1983). She has received numerous awards, including an Emmy for Decoration Day (NBC) in 1991, and a Literary Guild Award (1989) in recognition of her plays, poems, and children's stories. She has been inducted into both the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame (1975) and the Theater Hall of Fame (1988).

Ms. Dee was married to award-winning actor Ossie Davis for more than 50 years. They lived in New York City. Mr. Davis died on Feb. 4, 2005 at age 87.

Flavor Flave Is At It Again

Hello my urban congregation I am with you once again to let you know that it is almost time for us to watch the Flavor Of Love 3. Flave has gone forth once again and found a group a women who will swear they want to be with him. But at the end we will be astounded by the reasons that some of the girls were really on the show.

While browsing the new reality shows from V-H1 I came across one of my old favorites "The Flavor Of Love." Then I came across thumbnail pictures of all the new women and their names.

Some are kind of average and others are as hot as delicious was. Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you Flave has a new hairstyle. Its sort of like Don Kingish.

I not convinced that Flave actually picked the girls this time because some of them just don't seem to be his type. I personally don't think there are enough thick girls this time around. Maybe three tops.

Even with the shows shortcoming I am confident it will still entertain us as it always has. It premieres on Feb. 11Th, at 9:00pm on Vh-1.

Obama Wins In The South

As I watched television yesterday I turned to the news and learned that Barak Obama had won the Primary election in South Carolina. It was an impressive win but it was overshadowed by Hillary Clinton. She was obviously a sore loser.

Hillary has begun to run a negative campaign and attributes Obama's win to the idea that the only reason he has won the South was because he is black. She has used the race card and no one appreciates it.

Then the camera turned to Bill Clinton who congratulated Obama and said he was running a good campaign.

Hillary should be careful because once African-Americans determine that She is just using them to get into the White House the love affair is over.

I unusually say that Obama can't win but with Hillary's tactics, she may give him that extra boost he needs to become the Democratic Party's nominee for President of the United States.

Tiger Woods (Doesn't speak up)

Earlier in the week there was a controversy involving Tiger Woods and a news anchor from the Golf channel Kelly Tilgham.

Tilgham said that his young challengers should "Lynch him in a back alley. The insensitive comment was not received well by her network who suspended her for two weeks.

The problem according to Football Hall oF Famer, Jim Brown was that Tiger should have said something when the comment was made. Instead he waited until it was politically correct to comment.

There was even a magazine with a picture of a nuse on the front page. I can not fault Tiger because he has made it clear that he doesn't identify or claim to be black.

The statement should have caused outrage among everyone of Afrian-American descent because of the terrible imaged lynching evokes.

I feel the lack of black leaders in the community more than ever. Thank you Jim Brown for taking Tiger to task.

This reminds me of a saying that I heard a long time ago. First they came for the African-American's but I wasn't Black so I didn't speak up, then they came for the Jew's but I wasn't Jewish so I didn't speak up, finally they came for me and I noticed there was no one left to speak up.

Welcome Home Martin Lawrence

Martin Lawrence has a new movie out and I say its about time he did. The film is called "Welcome home Roscoe Jenkins".

The movie is about Martin playing a single father who has a ten year old daughter. He returns to his southern roots with his reality celebrity girlfriend. Martin has made a name for him self in television with a self-help show and has become successful beyond his dreams.

He begins to question his path in life when he attends his parents 50Th Anniversary.
Martin soon finds that his Tinsel town attitude doesn't fit in with Southern ways.

Martin has to balance the man that he has become with the man he used to be. Martin is supported in the cast by Cedric the Entertainer, Michael Clark Duncan, and James Earl Jones.

This film is a must see.

LiL Wayne Busted In Arizona

On January, 23rd Lil Waynes tour bus was stopped by the Border Patrol. A subsequent search of the bus using drug dogs found that the bus contained illegal drugs including Cocaine and Exstacy.

Lil Wayne and two of his companions were charged with drug possession. A .40 handgun was also found but Lil Wayne had a concealed permit for it from the state of Florida.

Lil Wayne's bail was set at $10,185 and he was released at 2pm Wednesday afternoon. When Lil Wayne returns to court he will be facing charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

It appears that so many African-American celebrities are in legal trouble. I think most of them believe that because they are rich they can behave anyway they want.

T.I., Busta Rhymes, Remy, Diddy, DMX, Foxy Brown, and Michael Vic are all examples that they are not above the law.

Reality check people Martha Stewart, and Paris Hilton both did time. Their wealth didn't help them.

It's always easier to throw away what was difficult to make.

Breaking The Law To Be Buff

The law appears to be after music industry celebrities. In a recent news report it was alleged that Superstars, Mary J. Blige, 50 cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean, and Tyler Perry who is famous for his plays. They were all under a year long investigation for obtaining body enhancing drugs.

According the the authorities the drugs were all issued by one man
Dr.Gary Brandwein of South Florida. He pleaded not guilty in Albany New York to a Felony indictment that charged him with drug related crimes.

News has also surfaced that the doctor had previously prescribed Steriods for the deceased WWE pro wrestler Chris Beniot.

The authorities claim that they are not out to prosecute the Celebrities but are instead concentrating ont the Doctor who prescribed the Steriods.

Steroids have become a major point of dicussion over the last few years. Most people who are educated about what steroids can do to the brain wouldn't use them.

Another causality of steroid usage is Marion Jones who had to return her Olympic medals to the committee and also received six months in prison for lying to the Federal authorities about her steroid usage in 2003.

Celebrities using what amounts to illegal drugs is nothing new but I would have hoped that most celebrities would build their bodies naturally.

Huey Freeman had a dream

Last night at about midnight an episode of the Boondocks started. It opened with the animated footage of Dr.Martin Luther King standing on the balcony of the hotel that he was shot at.

But instead of dying Dr. King slipped into a comma for thirty years and awoke in our time. The world was a very changed place. First he was giving a seven figure book deal and lost it because when ask if we should use violence against Al-Queda, he said
we should do the Christian thing and turn the other cheek.

The government didn't take his answer to well and tried to make him look as if he supported Al-Queda.

Huey shows up at a king book signing and their is no one in the book store. So Huey invites Dr. King to dinner at his home. Dr. King surprises everyone because he and the boys grandparents are friends.

After dinner Huey and Dr. King proceed to set up an action network and prepare to hold a political awareness rally. The rally turns into a party because Dr. king hired a public relations firm.

So, now the rally is a big party and everyone attending is not behaving well. The makes Dr. King very angry at the end he lets everyone have it and wakes them up by moving to Canada.

Black people begin to protest and ask why are we no better off than we were thirty years ago.

The episode concludes with Dr. Martin Luther King dying at 91 in Canada and Oprah Winfree being elected President in 2020.

Huey states at the end of the episode I can dream.

The episode was a great what if. And hopefully really made people think. It was good to see Dr. King again. If only in a dream.

Martin Luther King Jr. (The Dream Lives ON)



Today is a special day for me because it is the day that we honor the Rev. Martin Luther King with a holiday.

He was a man who stood for principles and didn't falter. Unfortunately during the time he lived men chose to settle their differences with violence.

Martin Luther King had a dream and died for it. History has shown us that men are easy to kill but dream are not. So, I leave you with Martin's I have dream speech
because it appears to me that a lot of people have forgotten the dream.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.

As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating "For Whites Only". We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.

Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair.

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Happy Birthday Martin. You would have been 79.

Cloverfield(Where's The Monster)

Cloverfield is a film that has a Godzilla like monster that we never see. But, it has done a hell of a job marketing itself by using the internet and fake home video footage.

The film was recently released and has made 41 million in a matter of days. The film cost 20 million to make and has already recouped its investment.

I think the biggest draw to the film is a clip in which the head of the Empire State building comes rolling down the street, screeching, and sparking.

The home made video follows the main character Rob (Michael Stahl-David)through the film as he is attending a going away party for himself.

As the party progresses Rob is confessing unresolved feelings and tying up loose ends. When a sudden jolt shakes everything up. The crowd quiets down and watches news reports of an earthquake. The crowd then runs to the roof to asses the damage.

I really don't think the roof would be the best place to asses the damage. It probably would have been smarter to get out of the building.

A fireball explodes and powerfailure occurs. Confusion and panic ensue as the partygoers take to the streets moving towards the inhuman roars and their destinies.

The director Matt Reeves has done an excellent job at keeping the film suspenseful by keeping the monster a secret.

Cloverfield is a must see.

Fat Joe and J.Holiday(I Wont Tell)

Fat Joe has a song and video out with J. Holiday on the hook. The video features a lot of cameos which show all the love that the industry has for Fat Joe.

The video begins with Fat Joe and an unknown lady friend landing at the airport on a G4 Jet. After they exit the Jet they get into a custom Rolls Royce convertible and drive to the club

They enter the club and split up. The club is filled with plenty of eye candy and bling bling. Fat Joe's chain and charm are off the hook. The charm looks like he has a book around his neck.

As the video progresses we see industry bigs taking part in the video shoot. So I sat in my chair trying to identify most of them. So, here goes, you had Diddy, Scott Storch, LL Cool, Bow Wow, Slim Thug and Junior Reed to name a few.

Near the end of the video the pretty girl with Fat Joe goes to the bathroom and the girls there tell her that Fat Joe is looking at her and she say Fat who?

The girl returns from the bathroom and Fat Joe signals her from across the room to meet him outside. She meets him at the Rolls Royce outside and they leave.

It's kind of obvious that Fat Joe and the beautiful girl are creeping. Maybe she's cheating on someone or it might be him.

"I won't tell" is good song and hot video.

"Mad Money"

Mad Money is a the new comedy that stars Dian Keaton, Queen Latifa, and Katie Holmes.

The three form an unlikely friendship and decide to rob the Federal Reserve Bank. Diane Keaton is on the verge of losing her home and upper class lifestyle because her husbands company is downsizing.

In desperation she takes the only job that she can get. A janitor at the Federal Reserve Bank. While working at the bank she meets co-workers Queen Latifa and Katie Holmes.

The three devise a plan to smuggle currency designated to be destroyed out of the Federal Reserve. The plan works at first and they accumulate more and more money but a minor misstep alerts the authorities.

The trio spends the latter half of the movie trying to stay ahead of Law enforcement.

Mad Money is entertaining and a must see.

Keyshia Cole is the best at recreating herself. She has a different look in most of her videos.

In keyshia's I remember video she is looking like a Quarter piece with her hair died blond and a tight black dress on.

I remember lulls you into a since a peacefulness and reflection. Keyshia keeps getting better with time.

Where are the heroes

I sat and wondered to myself where are the heroes that I used to watch on television when I was younger.

We had Superman, Batman, and Aquaman just to name a few. Then as time progressed we even saw minority superheroes such as the Green Lantern, Apache Chief, and Samurai.

However today it appears as if there are no more superheroes for kids to look up to.

Most kids are turning rap stars into their heroes and finding that most of these stars fall short.

The removal of positive role models have left many young people in the dark about how to conduct themselves and achieve their goals.

So,lets kick the ball back to the home. Mothers and fathers who take care of their children are the real heroes.

I would kill to hear a child say thank you for the light, the food and the roof over my head.

Rules of conduct(No Snitching)

The hood is a unique entity because it has rules that a completely contrary to anywhere else in the nation.

For example if your at a store and someone hits you what do you do?

A.Hit them back and run.
B.Go home and call the Police.
C.Hit them, run home and call the Police.
D.None of the above.

If a person were in any other location than the hood the answer would be the letter B. But since the incident took place in the hood the answer is letter D because the no snitching rule applies.

So the next time your in the hood remember this rule and you may survive the encounter.

And remember, no snitching.

To Serve Baby

I came across a UP article about a woman named Sharilyn Singh who was reported to have placed her 11 month old child in the oven.

The woman was from Florida and according to her uncle his niece was having problems with her husband and became despondent and placed her child in the oven. It wasn't high enough to hurt him but the oven was on.

After the incident the child was placed in the custody of Child Protection Services and the mother was arrested and charged with aggravated Child endangerment.

She was later released on $15,000 bail.

I definitely know that the bail should have been higher and the kid was lucky his uncle was at home.

Escape County prisoners caught.


Today in the news both of the men who escaped from the Union County jail have been recaptured.

Espinosa was captured in Elizabeth New Jersey right by the highway at his girlfriends house.

While Blunt made it all the way to Mexico city where he was hiding out in a cheap hotel room.

His mistake extradition did not apply when Mexico hated the USA. The USA and Mexico are friends now and extradition is as easy as an internet connection away.

To bad the Correction Officer who killed himself did not hold on a little longer.
He would have found that the escapee's were not as smart as they thought.

Jay-Z Grows Up

Recently Superstar Mogul Jay-Z resigned from Def Jam records. Most of us ask why resign from such a glamorous job that he was groomed for.

Well Jay did some soul searching and realized that if he put as much effort into running his own businesses as he did in running Def Jam records. The sky's the limit.

Jay is clearly out for dead presidents to represent him.

Whose The Man(Clinton or Obama)


After watching the first caucus I thought it was over for Hillary Clinton but she appeared crying on television and the second caucus.

At first I thought that the older generation in this country finally got a good look at Obama and noticed he was black.

But, whatever it is, it clearly still anybodies race. So good luck and run Mr. Obama run.

Where's Remy Ma


I recently read a article about Remy Martin. Remy was on the Fat Joe record label but was dropped when her first album only sold 150,000 copies.

Plus signing a contract that forbid you to work with anyone from G-Unit, not good business. Fat Joe had the problem, not you.

The next problem Remy Ma had was she caught a case for shooting a friend who stole money from her.

Personally, I like Remy Ma but she really needs to chill out. Take care of her business and get back to the grind.

Job searching in 2008

It may be a shadow of things to come but it appears as if gainful employment is becoming harder to locate.

By gainful employment I mean jobs that pay over ten dollars per hour. So I believe it is important that the HHC network and help each other obtain job that are well paying with benefits.

And, remember dress to impress on the interview. Definitely go Hollywood. But keep the bling, down to a minimum.

Keyshia in charge

Although it took a long time for Keyshia Cole to jump, it all seemed to take off when she released “(I Just Want It) To Be Over” as a single.

It was strong and although previous songs and singles had done her justice, it showed the vocal ability and gusto that the label and fans initially saw from Keyshia. She took a break, had a reality show, was featured on the highly spun

Diddy record “Last Night” (which, by the way, has 10,000 remixes…), is also featured on the new Jeezy single and now it’s the right time for Keyshia to come back with some fire. Her debut album, “The Way It Is” was critically acclaimed. But can she switch it up? She surely has. And with features from Lil’ Kim (who is about to be on everything) and Missy Elliott (who also produced the record), she will not go wrong.

At first I was iffy when I saw the show title, and the features, but it’s really grown on me. Definitely what I like to see as a first single from Miss Cole.

Keyshia is fine, talented and ready for war.

The Great Debaters

The Great Debaters is a movie produced and directed by Denzel Washington and Oprah Winfrey.

It is a drama based on the true story of Melvin B. Tolson, a professor at Wiley College Texas. In 1935, he inspired students to form the school's first debate team, which went on to challenge Harvard in the national championship.

It is a very entertaining movie a lifts the spirits. A must see.

Fight the Power

The definition of the word power is the ability to control ones own destiny and control the lives of others.

The reason Im talking about power is because the powers that be at Google Adsense have chosen to exercises their power over me be removing my ads. No explanation offered.

It is painfully obvious that my blog was generating more income than they anticipated in the short span of time that I have been blogging. Hence their statement used for all situations. My sights popularity would generate more income for my blog than for it advertisers.

No problem, God will work it out. Even Jesus had to fight the power.
