Tiger Woods (Doesn't speak up)

Earlier in the week there was a controversy involving Tiger Woods and a news anchor from the Golf channel Kelly Tilgham.

Tilgham said that his young challengers should "Lynch him in a back alley. The insensitive comment was not received well by her network who suspended her for two weeks.

The problem according to Football Hall oF Famer, Jim Brown was that Tiger should have said something when the comment was made. Instead he waited until it was politically correct to comment.

There was even a magazine with a picture of a nuse on the front page. I can not fault Tiger because he has made it clear that he doesn't identify or claim to be black.

The statement should have caused outrage among everyone of Afrian-American descent because of the terrible imaged lynching evokes.

I feel the lack of black leaders in the community more than ever. Thank you Jim Brown for taking Tiger to task.

This reminds me of a saying that I heard a long time ago. First they came for the African-American's but I wasn't Black so I didn't speak up, then they came for the Jew's but I wasn't Jewish so I didn't speak up, finally they came for me and I noticed there was no one left to speak up.

One Love, One Nation, One World.
