Have America's Chicken's Come Home To Roost

Malcolm X made a statement once in which he referred to the assassination of a U.S. leader as "Chicken's coming home to roost". The violence that America nurtured back fired.

In recent years America has been very vocal when speaking out against Human Rights violation in other areas of the world such as Australia where the Aboriginal people's human rights are being violated.

This week the U.N. panel will determine whether the United States and 11 other nations, are adhering to the International Convention on Elimination of all forms of racial injustice.

The action was brought on because of the way that the U.S. government is treating the survivors of the killer storm Hurricane Katrina. The problem two U.N. advisers called the U.S. governments decision to raze ramshackle low-income homes in New Orleans discriminatory.

Activist have blasted the government for it decision to demolish four low-income housing projects in New Orleans because it would make it more difficult for poor African-American residents to return home after leaving in the aftermath of Katrina and Rita's destruction.

What I find interesting is that its been about two years and African-Americans are still struggling to recover from the storms. I start to believe that the government does not care for its minority residents because in other states such as California help was received immediately.

The government should be building in New Orleans not tearing in down. Kanye might have been correct in his assessment of the situation. Shame on you Uncle Sam, where is the leadership.

One Love, One Nation, One World.
