Here we are ladies and gentleman. The year is 2012, we have an African American President, and over one million people out of work. George W. left us with a pant load of problems to deal with before he was voted out of office. He departed and left many with economic problems that a part time job just won't solve.

Recently, while having a conversation with a good friend I was told that the majority of individuals with jobs are living from pay check to pay check. And there is no end to the long tunnel in sight. Traditionally African Americans suffer two times as much as their white counter parts when the country is in a recession.

The recession has not spared anyone because it has College students graduating and moving in with their parents without jobs, experience or a viable future.

The only thing I can think of right now is to remind everyone that the economy goes through phases and will correct itself, hopefully, sooner than later. The second thing is to pray that we can all make it through bruised but not beat up beyond healing. Good night and God bless.

"Post Office To Cut Thirty Thousand Jobs"

The world is becoming what was referred to in the Superman Comic as Bizzaro World. A world turned upside down where good is bad and bad is good. I really don't won't to get into to much detail but the US Postal Service which was created in1792 and Benjamin Franklin was it's first Post Master General.

So lets time travel forward to 2011 where the USPS now employs about 574,000 employees and has over 218,000 vehicles in it fleet. The USPS has simply grown to large to be profitable and has deciced to, cut workers, cut Postal centers, and service. Thats correct there will be no more deliveries on Saturdays. But I believe that the USPS is worth saving. I actually remember the corny slogan about the mail always having to get through the elements. Neither rain, nor hail, or snow shall stop the mail from getting through.

I usually don't like to speak about Political issues but once again I must. The USPS has been and is an American Institution that has been around since the Founding of the USA. A large majority of people blame the state of the USPS on more mail being delivered using E-mail and etc. I disagree I blame the USPS management who have really done nothing to upgrade so it could compete with Internet mail. The USPS responsibility of being profitable has doomed the Agency.

I believe a bail out is in order Mr. President. While growing up I could always remember hearing that "the Post Office was always hiring. Can we allow the USPS to be sent back in time or do we as Americans stand up and say no. I say no because The Social Security Administration will probably be next.

"The Ekko Returns"

Hello avid readers let recap whats been going on in our world. First the recession has put record number of individuals on the Unemployment line with many about to exhaust the maximum 99 week limit up. So its about to get real crazy out here.

Second you have Mr. Herman Cain an African-American Pizza Mogul who wants to be the next President. The only problem is that he is for more taxes and believes that if you are broke and unemployed that its your own fault. Blaming the individuals who got laid off is not a good way to get votes. And finally he has sexual harassment allegations to deal with so I think he is pretty much done.

Here come the good news. There is a 23 year old Puerto Rican Rapper named "Ekko" who has been featured in XXL and voted the best up and coming rapper. A good friend of mine had told me about the rapper but I had not heard any material from him except for a free style. It was hot. But his new single about going back to his city in Reading Pa. is fire.

Ekko is definitely headed for greatness and I really think he can bring the East back. He has a good head on his shoulders and been through some things. Definitely check Ekko out on YouTube. This Latin going platinum is definitely going to happen if he stays focused. If the video is any indication of his talent then Ekko has a bright future ahead of him.

Finally I would like to say thanks for the heads up on your boy Ekko. Nice street team work in P.A.. C.L.. I predict your boy is gonna be large.

"Internet Tablets: The Future Is Now"

I remember like it was only yesterday watching Captain Kirk being given a duty roster to sign. But It wasn't on paper it was a computer tablet he was signing. It was the sixties so most people really thought such devices were pure fantasy.

So, yesterday I went and purchased the Coby kryos Mid 7022 4g. The tablet was about $200 with tax. I opened it up and read the instructions. It was pretty easy to operate once I charged it. I had read a review which said the screen was a problem but it did not find this to be the case. It a 7" screen but its perfect size for me.

The one thing that really surprised me was that the tablet was so fast. The A8 Samsung Cortex processor made surfing he web effortless. The tablet also comes with the Android market.

The Android market comes pre-installed on the Coby tablet as well as a great number of other application that are free.

In my opinion the computer tablet will someday take over and their will be no need for a laptop. If you don't get one for yourself I recommend getting one for the kids.

"Bootleg Video Makes Its Way To Internet TV"....

It's late and I'm watching one of the many free movie channels on my Internet blog site and what do I see. Some one going to their seat during the movie. You know that black shadow figure that shows up for a few seconds and then sits down out of camera view.

I know its free so I really have no right to complain but if your going to put a bootleg on an Internet movie channel then locate the best copy you can.

Now some of you who have been living under a rock may not know that there is an Internet movie and TV player located on the bottom of this site. Most of the movies are new and good quality, so check it out. Or like I tell most of my friends I already saw it. But, you can go pay $80 to take the family to see it.

As for me cable TV is a thing of the past because I get all my news and entertainment from the Internet. My bill went up to $150 and I folded. Game over. And if I want to watch local shows I have a digital antenna required for television reception these days. Cost me about $10 a small investment to be entertained.

And believe it or not today's open air programming is in HD. Usually a station will have more than one channel. My favorite is Ion Television which has a lot of CSI type shows and movies on the weekends. So I say leave cable alone and go back to regular television or just come to my site and learn where to locate even more entertainment.

Its probably a given that the Internet cost money unless you piggy back on a wireless router in the area of your computer. But its better to pay $30 to $40 for Internet access than $150 for cable per month.

Matisyahu,"Jewish Reggae Singer"

     Well readers its true there is a music called Jewish Reggae. There is a group that sings soulful and meaningful songs set to Reggae beats. Now they have been around for a while and I began listening to them when I was walking past a Jewish school for girls. Because as you know Jewish girls and boys do not go to school together.

     This is the story. I was walking past the school and I heard the girls listing to Reggae music. I stopped and said what are you listening to and they said, Jewish Reggae. I said really, and they turned it up.Then I asked what was the name of the group and they said Matisyahu. I absorbed the lesson and moved on.

     Now years later I remember this group Matisyahu and searched for them on YouTube. I came up with the first song I ever heard from them "King Without A Crown". And then "One day" which is a uptempo soulful song which was well written, sung and produced.

     In a world that stands divided most of the time I believe the Matisyahu served to bring us all a little closer together. And finally to really blow your mind Matisyahu is an Hasidic Jew. Thats right reader he is a member of the Hasidim the Orthodox Jewish Sect.

     True creativity always rises to top in my opinion. I find myself riding down the street with Matisyahu's song "One day" blasting from my cell phones mp3 player.

"The Urban Teen Dress Code"

Well my loyal readers summer is almost upon us and the usual tight dresses, mini skirts, and tube tops will soon be upon us. It has always been known women have more of a selection when it comes to fashion. But as for men all we have are a few basic colors.

The well dressed Urban teen wears a fresh white T, jeans and usually a brand new pair of Air Force I's. And if its cold out side a hoody can be worn.

The problem that I've seen in recent years is that the price of the clothing has gone up considerably. Unless you shop at Forman Mills the prices are steep.

So for those of you out their who don't have a few hundred dollars for clothing and don't clock dollars. You can still be cool with not much cash.

As I said before you can go to Forman Mills, Marshalls,Or even a Flea market in your area. Sometimes you can find good bargains at flea markets.

The summer will be here soon so it better to start buying now and build up a number of outfits which means putting together hats, T's, jeans , and the foot wear of your choice. And if your into button down shirts you can always throw them in the mix.

And remember you don't always have to fit in you can wear what you think is comfortable.

"Osama Bin Laden Is Dead"

Apparently on May 1, 2011 US troops and operatives from the CIA located Bin Laden in Pakistan. Ironically the location was close to a military base.

The US provides the Pakistan government with 1 billion dollars a year to battle terrorism and they could not locate Bin Laden right under their nose.

In case anyone has been living under a rock Osama Bin Laden was the leader of a terrorist group called Al-Queda which means the base. Bin Laden and his organization was responsible for the destruction of the twin towers in N.Y. .And the loss of lives over Pennsylvania.

So, I have given you the facts and a new set of questions come up to be answered? Will Osama Bin Laden's death end terrorism forever? I say no because there is always someone waiting in the wings to continue Bin Laden's reign of terror.

However, what really amazes me is that all of Osama Bin Laden's Billions could not keep him safe from justice. I believe that a single persons death diminishes us all. Why was the only way to silence Bin Laden, murder. It, speaks volumes to how we deal with our differences.

And, I leave you with what I think are the most beautiful words in the Arab language As-salam Alaikum(Peace be upon you).

Deshawn Robinson If you ask me has been and is on a journey that has taken years in the making. First, yes I am a little bias because I have known him most of his teenage and adult life.

I always noticed that he was a talented young man when he and two friends wrote and performed a rap song that I had produced the music for. D never the less blazed the track.

I recently saw D and he told me what he was doing and that I should Google him. I was so impressed with what I saw I decided to give D thewooreport's first video headline instead of a jpeg.

First, I would like to say Happy New Year to my avid readers, it's been a long time since I left you with advice to adhere to. So with this being said ,my opening line from the top of my head, let the Wooreport begin again.

Spilling over from 2010 Niki Minaj and Lil Kim. One an up and comming and the other a has been.

Niki Minoj made a habit of disrespecting Lil kim by ignoring her and calling her a has been. Then when Niki Minoj's CD dropped "Pink Friday" with a respectable Number 2 selling CD. Kanye West was number 1.

Lil kim fired back with a single called "Black Friday". The rhymes where excellent but I think the beat could have been better, nonetheless; it was still fire.

Lil Wayne did his time and was released from Rikers Island. While T.I. who was released before "Weezy" is serving another 11 months for violating his parole. He and his long time girlfriend Tiny were stopped in T.I.'s Maybach under the influence of CDS.

I really thought T.I. was smarter than that ATL totally fooled me. That man sure can act.

So, now that I have talked about people with money. I would now like to talk about the common people who have been downsized. A lot of Phd types are saying that the economy is getting better however most of the people I know are being let go because of lack of work.

Recently I read and article about how their has been an increase in unemployment claims among the segment of well to do working class. When Enron went so did their income.

The advice I am about to give probably won't help the people I just mentioned. But to the brothers returning back to the neighborhood after being downsized. Im about to put you on to few legitimate ways of making money.

The first thing you can do is flip that money you saved. Buy junked cars and sell them for metal to a scrap yard. And while your at it check and see what else
they buy.

I hope your third eye is opened. To the East my brother to the East.

"Television is good again on Fox Channel 5"

It was about 8:00pm and I found myself watching a new show called Glee on channel 5. The show was about a high school choir made up of a lot of different characters.

The more I watched the more I couldn't turn the channel. These teenagers had learn to express themselves very well through song.

Tonight's, episode was about a member of the Glee club named Kurt who is Homosexual and his father has a heart attack. Kurts friends struggle to comfort him spirtually but he does not believe in God.

While Kurt is struggling with faith his closet friend Fin has found God in a burn on a grilled cheese sandwich shaped like Jesus' face and prays to it until a counselor tells him. Sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich.

Then finally a Glee Club member Mercedes who also sings in a church choir invites Kurt to a service dedicated to his father.

Fox has created an excellent show with a very young and gifted cast. Glee gives us what a show of it's caliber has not in years. Insight into the teenage world
through song without being to corny.

I almost forgot their is this actress who plays Rachel Berry a Jewish Glee Club member who sounds just like a young Barbra Streisand. Her real name is Lea Michele Sarfati and was born in The Bronx.

"President Obama Likes His Subs'."

Last week President Obama visited a sub shop in Edison New Jersey and recommended a his favorite sub. Showing once again that he is a man of the people.

But that's not the story I was close to the Airport and saw the blacked out Suburbans travelling toward the airport.

As I watched the president being escorted to the Airport under heavy guard I noticed that one of the windows came down briefly on one of the Suburbans to survey the area and then it went back up.

President Obama is the truth and lives life without fear on his terms. I proud to be from the same gene pool as him.

"Who is Boby Ray?"

Recently I found myself riding towards Eastwick and a song came on called Airplanes. It had a good beat and very well written verses. Then at the end of the song the DJ announces that it's another song by B.O.B.

I think that he also sings "Nothing on you You." Another hot song getting multiple airplays. So after a little research I found that B.O.B is Boby Ray from the Adventures of Boby Ray who's alblum was released in April of 2010.

Most who have heard B.O.B's album like it because he a has infused rap and rock. The infusion of the two has made the album and its contributors such as T.I..Lupe Fiasco, and others help sky rocket the tracks to the top of the charts.

Boby Ray as he likes to be called is the truth. He writes, he sings, he produces, and he plays multiple instruments. And believe it or not he is currently signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records.

Talking about putting your good foot first. The Woo is not easily impressed but this time T.I. I am impressed.

And for you haters B.O.B is only 21 and appeared on the cover of XXL's "09" issue of up and coming rappers.

So lets see at my last writing Lil Wayne had not yet been sent to Rikers Island and Drake had just released "Over". The word on the street is Weezy is doing just fine on Rikers Island. However, Rikers did have to fire a female Corrections Officer Amelia Negron because she tried to get to close to the multi-million record selling phenom.

Next both Drake and Niki Minaj have released music that would not be considered your typical Hip-Hop and in my opinion may run into some trouble with there fans.

Nikki's song is hip-hop and called "Roger That" but delivered in a totally different style that the masses have not heard before.

While Drake has gone completely of off the grid with Kanye West who has Drake singing on a R&B type track called "Find Your Love". Drake who is known for rapping does not rap at all on this latest track. I applaud him for his courage but in my opinion it was to soon for him to sing. He should stick to doing what he does best, creating dope rap songs.

Of course I don't have a two million dollar rap contract, so I could be wrong. So now to recap current developments in Hip-Hop.

Eminen is back to blazing tracks again, Diddy is making music again with Dirty Money, and Rick Ross has become the Teflon Done. I understand everyone but Rick Ross the boss.

I really don't think he needed to change his name.

The State of Hip-Hop is alive and well, it is developing and progressing as it should and continues to entertain millions of fans all over the world.

I almost forgot to bigup Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana. Bimmer, Benz, or Bentley and Joell Ortiz and Jim Jones. Nissan, Honda, Chevy. The vocals and beats are slammin.

First let me say that if you have not seen or heard of Niki Minaj then you have probably been living under a rock. She is not only talented but she looks good also.

Onika Maraj Aka Niki Minaj was born on December 8Th, 1984 in Queens, New York and her pedigree is mixed Minaj has African, Trinidadian, and Indonesian blood in her.

Niki Minaj has always been talented an graduated from a school for the performing arts.

But strangely enough she was discovered by Dirty Money CEO Fendi on Myspace. The in August 2009 she was signed to Young Money, Lil Wayne's Label.

It is an interesting story how Lil Wayne and Niki got together. Niki had appeared in The Carter Compilation Cd and impressed Lil Wayne who called her up and the rest is history.

I hear that a lot of people are hating on Niki Minaj because she does things just a little differently than other rappers. But so did Run Dmc and Big. Keep rocking on as I pour out a few words for all and dedicate this ice to the nicest MC's.

I spent the December, 31st at the home of a childhood friend. We ushered in the new year, and I proclaimed 2010 to be the year of the Black man.

So, far in my opinion President Obama has been doing an excellent job of running the country and has won the Nobel Peace Prize even though to keep peace he has to send extra troops to Afghanistan.

I believe "2010" can be the best year ever for African-Americans because the recession is the best time in my opinion to open a business.

Plain and simple my advice is to buy wholesale and sell retail. The product must be something that is in demand during and after the recession. For, example: shoes, clothing, bathroom necessities and etc.

The election of President Obama has shown us that, anything that can be imagined can be accomplished.

"Tigger Falls From Grace."

By now you have probably heard that Tiger Woods was in a domestic altercation with his Swedish wife. The report first said that Tiger drove away from his home in his Escalade and crashed. His wife then took a gulf club a broke the back window out to get Tiger out.

I thought immediately to my self no way, I'm not buying it. And I was right. It later came out that Tiger had gotten caught cheating with a Club Hostess. After the first is disclosed a copy of Tiger asking another woman on her voice mail to please change her message because his wife went through his phone.

The next day the police attempt to interview Tiger and he turns them away under advice of his lawyer. He offers them his license, registration, and insurance because the papers are all that Florida Law requires when an accident occurs.

It is obvious that more occurred than was first reported by the news and a feeding frenzy ensues.

Then by the end of the whole feeding frenzy two more women come forward and admit that they have had sexual relationships with Tiger. The total number of women comes to ten and all are white.

In my opinion Tiger has a sexual addiction problem like his father who most say cheated on Tigers mother regularly.

At the last report Tiger was in seclusion on his yatch named privacy and planning to take a break from Golf and work on his marriage.

A strange update has disclosed that Tigers wife has purchase a house in Archipelagos and it can only be reached by boat. Speculation says this is probably where the troubled couple will go to reconcile their relationship.

Good luck but Tiger will definitely need help with the sex problem before the can move on.

"Gucci Mane Making His way To The Top"

Rapper Gucci Mane aka Radric Davis was born on Feb. 2, 1980 in Birmingham Alabama.
Gucci Mane began rapping at age 14 in Atlanta.

When he got to Atlanta he release a mix tape with the single Black Tee on it. A record
company called Big Cat records signed him to a contract after a local radio play his
single continuously.

In 2005 he released an independent debut album entitled "Trap House". It featured a successful single called "Icy" that featured Young Jezzy. A dispute over rights to the single caused a falling out between the two artists.

It is obvious that Gucci Mane is talented but what makes listeners really like his music is some of the crazy verses that he recites. For, example in his guest appearance on Mario's "Break Up". He says, Mo fish in the sea, girls are like buses, miss one next 15 on comin.

In short it's Gucci Manes playful style of rap that keeps listeners buying his records.

A Case Of Mistaken Identity

During an interview on MSNBC'S news network a news corespondent Contessa Brewer introduced the Rev. Jessie Jackson as the Rev. Al Sharpton even though he was looking right at him on the monitor.

After an unforgettable facial expression Rev. Jessie Jackson corrected her and let her know that he was in fact the Rev. Jessie Jackson.

She replied I know who you are but I was reading the script and it said Rev. Al Sharpton.

It was just an honest mistake on her part. She was performing the task for which she gets paid. She reads about the news from a script and doesn't really care about the news that she reports.

It didn't mean that she thinks that all African-Americans look alike. It simply meant that she acted insensitively and didn't take the time to care who she was interviewing.

I tried to remain objective on this story but I have to call it like I see it.

"Is Horrorcore To Blame?"

About a month ago a young man who calls himself Syko Sam, aka Richard Mcroskey travelled to Virginia from California to meet with his 16 year old girl friend that he met on a Horrorcore website.

The self-proclaimed Horrorcore rapper was allowed to stay at the young lady's parents home by the parents.

This decision turned out to be fatal. Because after they all went to horrorcore concert. Including the parents.

Syko Sam horribly murdered everyone in the his girlfriends home including a female vistor.

The murders were so horrific that the police declined to describe the scene in the house.

Is Horrorcore to blame? I would say partially because Horrorcore rap embraces violence, especially murder.

In my opinion the Horrorcore genre of rap is especially attractive to those young people who feel powerless. They gain power from reciting lyrics about what they would do to those who oppose them. Murder, dismemberment, and unthinkable violence.

Syko Sam choose to hide behind Horrorcore rap. He is a homicidal maniac who unfortunately preyed on a 16 year old girl, her family and her friend.

On an ironic note the 16 year old girls mother was a Criminal Justice Professor but didn't see the danger.

"Diddy's Back With BIG On The Track"

I was listening to the radio heard a new track with Diddy and Biggie on the hook. Diddy was using auto tune but the track was still hot.

I later found out while at the barber shop that the name of the track is called Angel it is being sung by Diddy and his new group Dirty Money.

The track is fire, it has a hook from Biggie and a the beat is an old Jay-Z track. Diddy has brought all of these element together well on the track and I think that even Big would have liked it.

I also hear that a lot of critics are saying that Diddy's about a year to late for auto tune but I think that the way in which Diddy used auto tune he has created a track that will endure the test of time.

On a more personal note, it was good to her biggie on a track again. Rest in peace Biggie.

"Mariah Vs, Eminem, Publicity Or Beef."

The talk of the airwaves has been about the beef between Mariah Carey the singer and Eminem the rapper. They have been attacking each other with singles. Eminem has said that he had a fling with Mariah and she says that he is lying.

Mariah release a song called "Obsessed" asking why Eminem is so obsessed with her. It's actually a good song and kind of catchy.

Eminem then releases a song called "The warning". Eminem takes voice mail messages from Mariah and incorporates them into the song.

Mariah your busted but the real question is does anyone really care that you fooled around with Eminem back in the day. I really don't think so.

So, Eminem move on and Mariah enjoy married life. And, Congrats Nick Cannon on your position as the CEO of TeenNick Tv.

I guess the answer to the question I began with is. It's a little bit of both, beef and publicity. Beef because they were attracted to each other once but not anymore and publicity because it compels the masses to go out a buy or download both artist's music.

"Racism Alive And Well In Cambridge"

Let me begin by asking a question? When does a Police Officer's job end? The established facts are that Professor Gates and his driver were returning to the professor home in Cambridge, Mass. The Professor forgot his keys and played with the door to get in. A neighbor then called the Police because she thought someone was breaking in. OK no problem.

But, when the Police arrive they ask the Professor to come outside and he shows the Officer identification. The identification clearly proved that he lives in the home. In my opinion the officers job was completed when the professor provided identification.

The Officer does not thank the professor and let him go back in his home. Instead the officer places Professor Gates under arrest for disorderly conduct. I am not buying it.

The officer arrested the Professor because he is a successful, and intelligent black male who did not fit the profile that the Officer was used to. Professor Gates did not have any warrants and was not afraid of the officer. And why should he have been, he was in his own home.

So the officer humiliates Professor Gates by arresting him for disorderly conduct and later drops the charges. But the lesson to Professor Gates and millions of African-Americans has already been administered. Malcolm X said it best "What does the white man call a black man with a PHD?" "A Nigger". The officer who has said he will not be apologizing was clearly trying to send the Harvard Professor a message. African-Americans are not welcomed in Cambridge.

President Obama said it best, "the Cambridge Police Department acted stupidly" in their handling of the situation. I am so appreciative that we finally have an African-American President who is not afraid to say exactly what most African-Americans are thinking.

"King Of Pop Dies At 50"

It was about 6:30pm when I got a call on my cell phone from my son. He said Michael Jackson is dead and I said, Yeah right. I was at a friends home so I asked him if I could turn to the news channel to confirm what my son had said.

Unfortunately I turned to CNN who was reporting that Michael had suffered a heart attack and was in a comma. While the New York papers were reporting that MJ had died.

Suddenly, I thought to myself I went from innocence to manhood listening to many of MJ's songs and a tear came to my eye. MJ has been forever removed from the world as I knew it.

MJ has written many songs but the only ones that I can Clearly remember are ABC and Billie Jean.

I feel that I would have to be showing favoritism to MJ if I didn't mention how he couldn't control his demons and perversion for young boys. Michael spent ten years as a child and forty years as Pop star. That's forty years of living that really didn't exist, around people who were making money off of him and didn't care.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. Especially Mrs. Jackson who has lost her baby boy.

I hope that Michael can find the peace in death, that he could not attain in life.

Is Drake The Best The Industry Ever Had?

Lately, I have not been able to turn on the radio without hearing the rapper Drake rapping the "Best I ever had". It seems like Drake has come out of no where and is now setting himself up to control the game.

Drakes government is Aubrey Drake Graham. Drake as he is known to most of the world is a native of Toronto,Ontario in Canada. His fathers name was Dennis Graham a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis and his mother a white Jewish Canadian who was wealthy.

Drake is not just a talented rapper he is also an actor who had a part in the Degrassi:The Next Generation series. He played a basketball star who ends up in a wheel chair.

Drake was first heard in mix tapes and then hooked up with Lil Wayne who he has written music for. Drake is not a new jack to the game he has worked with
Jay-z,Kanye West and Trey Songz.

And according to the grape vine a bidding war has broken out because major labels want to sign him.

In my opinion Drake will probably stick with Young Money Millionairs which is Lil wayne's company.

Joe Budden vs. Method Man

Recently rap beef has been iniatied by Jersey City rapper Joe Budden. Basically he called up 105.1 and spoke to radio personality Ed Lover about a list in which a lot of rappers where rated.

Budden singled out Method Man and said that in a rap batttle, he would cut Meths head of.

Method Man immediately called up the station and asked why of all people Budden singled him out.

I really hope Budden's comment was meant as a lyrical challenge because in any hood words like cut someones head off means a real challenge.

Method Man said that he does not want this to come to real beef because Buddens is just trying to create some publicity for his fading career.

I agree and hope it does not become the violence that deprived the Hip-Hop world of of Tupac and The Notorius Big.

Wendy's Vs. McDonalds The Dollar Wars

Lately, I have been eating a lot of fast foods especially from the dollar menu.
At first I really liked the Micky D's McChiken sandwich and large sweet tea which only cost a dollar.

The sweet tea is delicious and habit forming and comes in a large over sized cup.

But as good as the tea is Wendy's also has a banging menu that consists of freshly cooked double hamburgers called "Double Stacks" and a really good Chicken Sandwich.

So, dollar for dollar if I had a chance to mix my favorite Micky D's with my favorite Wendy's I would choose the Double Stack and the Sweet tea. Unfortunately I would have to go to two different places to have it my way.

The winner of the best dollar meal is Wendy's because of it's freshly made sandwiches and all around better taste.

Chris Brown, Innocence Lost

First, I would like to ask what happened to lovable Chris Brown that all the females used to hoot and holla for.

It turns out that Chris Brown unfortunately has turned out exactly like his step father who he saw beating his mother as he grew up.

The story is that he and Rihana were in L.A. in a rented Lamborgini and began arguing because of women texting him for booty calls.

Then maybe she hit him first and all hell broke lose with Rihana recieving the bulk of the bruises.

Reports have been saying that he beat her pretty bad and that definitely
was not right. My philosphy is if you have to beat her, you need to leave her.

Chris recently released a statement that he apologizes for what happened and is seeking help from family and friends.

My advice to anyone in an abusive relationship is to get out the relationship.

Last Friday Barak Obama was installed as the first African American President of the United States of America.

get along.

Slim Doing Well Without 112

Everywhere I look I see and hear good things coming from the singer known as Slim from the group 112.

112 was discovered by Diddy who in those days was called Puffy. The group was in Atlanta and they met the man himself. The began by singing and showing Diddy what they can do.

Diddy wasn't sure and called Faith to listen to them. Faith took one listen and told Diddy he would be a fool if he didn't sign them and the rest is history as they say.

112 is no longer with Bad Boy and they are not really together even if they still pretend they are.

Most of the groups members are working on solo projects like Slim. Slim presently has songs with other R&B and rap entertainers like Jadakiss. His song "So fly" is doing very well on the charts.

Slim's voice is very unique and well known. Recently he was on the Ed Lover morning show talking about his new projects and plans for the future.

I have also heard rumors that group members of 112 have been fighting over money. Allegedly one of the members took a check for writing a song that another member wrote.

As I always say anytime something goes wrong with a group it's usually over money.

Slim has the right attitude and was smart enough to get away from the 112.

Barak Obama Wins Election

On November, 4Th, the future was written and history was made when millions of Americans voted with their heads and chose the future over racism and prejudice.

Many went to sleep and awoke to find that Barak Obama had been elected as the President of the United States.

His election is one for the history books because he is the first African-American to hold the position of President in the United States. His election has proven to the rest of the world that America is a united country and lives up to it's ideals.

Many older African Americans had tears in their eyes because they never believed that they would live to see an African-American elected president and I must agree it was a sobering moment when he was announced the winner of the election.

Barak Obama is the President Elect of the United States and will be sworn in about seventy-three days.

Barak obama has come from humble beginnings to hold the highest office in the land and we the people are proud.

During the last twenty weeks we have watched Barak Obama and John McCain debate and attempt to convince us that one can run the country better than the other.

While McCain really didn't have to much to say on the subjects of easing the American peoples pain that has been caused by the recession.

Then McCain choose Sarah Palin to run as his Vice Presidential running mate. Great looking woman but not much in the intelligence arena.

The bottom line is that Obama's goal is to make things better for the country while McCain's plan is to make sure things remain the same as President Bush has made them.

Diddy Buys Enyce From Liz Claiborne.

Recently Rap Mogul known as Diddy bought the long forgotten Enyce clothing line from Liz Claiborne Inc. for 20 million dollars.

You may remember that Enyce was a hot clothing line about 10 years ago and now is worn by people mostly when its laundry day.

However whats really interesting is that the line was purchased from sports brand international by Liz Claiborne in 2003 for 114 million dollars.

I guess if Diddy can revamp the line and put it back on the level that it was years ago he can double or even triple his investment.

One minute rumors are saying that Diddy can't afford gas for his leased jet and the next minute he is spending 20 million dollars.

Well my friends T.I. is officially back in the game and he has the number one record this week. First his sugar daddy anthem "Whatever You like" is number one on the charts.

He also has a hit song with Kanye, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne called as if you didn't know Swagger Like Us.

And believe it or not a lot of people were upset that T.I. didn't invite them to be on the song with him. I'm not going to name names but most of them will be coming out with their own swagger song.

But my favorite is the song that has Rihanna on the it called "Live Your Life". Its hot because T.I. lets everyone know that the song is for everyone know who is fake or has crossed him that they are nothing to him and can't stop him.

T.I. still has to serve a year stemming from the automatic weapons charges that he caught from the feds. But I'm sure his fans will wait for him.

Swagger Over Flows

Today I am sad to report that everyone has gone Swagger crazy. It all began when a singer, songwriter and producer who goes by the name of M.I.A recorded a song called Paper Planes.

In her song she says no body on the block got swagger like us. The next thing you know everyone is on the Swagger bandwagon.

The first Swagger like us is hot and featured Jay-Z, Kanye, T.I. and Lil Wayne. But now the word on the street is that Diddy is going to do a song and Chris Brown, Neyo are going to make a swagger song for the R&B crowd.

I believe that we have enough songs with swagger in them and overusing and abusing the word causes the listening audience to get bored very quickly.

So, if you really want to help Hip-Hop encourage artist to at least come up with original concepts like M.I.A. did.

"It's Not Your Son's Honda"

Today I saw a car that had a very expensive and well thought out design to it. At first I thought it was a BMW because that's what it appeared to be at first. Then after a closer look it turned out to be a new Honda.

But this Honda looks like a new luxury breed. Gone are the plain Jane looks. This car can easily hold its own with vehicle that cost twice the price.

In my opinion Honda has won the war against Ford because they gave up when they discontinued the Taurus. It was rumored that the Ford Five Hundred was going to be re badged and called the Taurus.

I'm not sure if it ever happened but it doesn't matter because the new Honda is all that.

GM Has Built A Better Malibu

I was taking care of some business at the Chevrolet dealer when I looked at a vehicle that I had scene in a Magazine. The vehicle was sleek and looked like a foreign model. But after closer examination it turned out to be the New GM Malibu sedan.

The paint was nice and the trade mark bow tie sits right in the middle of the grill.

GM has finally built a car that can give the imports a run for the money.

I'm told that the new Malibu comes in a sportier model also and is even more eye catching.

Recently it was reported that Kanye was at LAX and observed the Media recording him.

So what did Kanye do. He grabbed the photographers equipment and proceeded to break it.

The funny part of the story is that Kanye did not know that there was someone else recording the whole incident on camera. So the police come and what does Kanye do. He tries to attack the person recording the scene and tells the man to give him the camera or he will kick the mans you know what in front of the police.

Democrats Realistic, Republicans Charismatic

I watched both the Democratic Convention and the Republican Convention. And I am said to say that the Republicans were more Charismatic than their Democratic counterparts.

Romney and Huckabee both gave funny and convincing speech's for why Mcain and Palin should be given a shot at running the country.

And as far as Palin's problems go, her reply was what family in America doesn't have problems?

While the speeches were stellar I did notice that the Republicans want to fight and are committed to keeping our troops in the present war.

And they actually believe that Ronald Regan's trickle down theory that failed thirty years ago will actually work today. If I remember correctly African Americans were excluded from his theory all together and poverty in the African American was at an all time high.

The message that I got was that the Republicans are not for change and will probably set the country back.

While the Democrats are forward thinking and concentrating on how to make the country and its citizens obtain a better way of life.

The Republican Convention was obviously a rich mans club with an agenda that will probably on help the wealthy.

I guess Charisma comes with the territory when a person is as well off as most Republicans are.

Recently I heard a song on the radio called "I'll be right here". The vocal sounded very familiar but I wasn't quite positive it was her.

But after about a minute I knew it was Brandy. It was a welcome surprise to her Brandy singing again.

I found it kind of strange because she gave up singing to go into acting. She was very successful with her hit show Moesha.

After Moesha went off Brandy left the scene to have a baby girl. I had heard Brandy was spotted at FAO Schwartz buy a doll for her daughter in NY.

The song was pretty good but I am wondering if Brandy's fan base hasn't grown up and outgrown her.

Only time will tell if Brandy can still deliver the goods. I wish her luck.

DMX, Can't Stay Away From The Law

Lately every time the news comes on there is always a story about DMX getting arrested by police.

Either he is the target of the hip-hop police or the dumbest man in the business.

He has been caught numerous times by the police doing stupid things. For example once he was at JFK airport and tried to steal a car by pretending to be an FBI agent.

Mostly he has been arrested for various driving offenses and believe it or not being cruel to the dogs that he keeps.

But DMX did not stop there. More recently he was arrested in Arizona for Felony theft of an identity. And in Florida for attempting to purchase Cocaine and Marijuana.

I suspect that Dark Man X is not in touch with reality due to the use of Crack Cocaine. And will continue to have trouble with the law until he is put away for good.

What a waste of talent and Rick James said it best "Cocaine is a powerful drug".

Will The Real Rick Ross Please Stand Up

So lets go over the who Rick Ross said he was. According to himself he is a gangster who learned his trade from a man who used to control Miami. Ross came up in the trade and started rapping about his life.

Then a few months ago pictures surface of Ross in a correction officers uniform. The pictures call into question Rick Ross' credibility. Especially on the street.

These fact help us arrive at present day. 105.1 has been playing an interview that Rick Ross gave after it was found that he really had been a C.O.. In the interview Ross said that he had a hundred thousand dollars at his moms house, he first got arrested when he was fifteen. But nothing about being a C.O.

He stuck to his gangster story. What I find ironic is most people simply like his music and don't really care if he was a gangster. But I guess he felt and gangster image helped him sell more records.

In my opinion I wish he would have just admitted he was a C.O. and said this is how far you can go when you believe in yourself.

Recently, while listening to the Steph Lover show on 105.1 She debuted a new song by Lil Wayne and the game. I believe the name of the song is My life which is the hook sung by Weezy.

The song reminded me that The Game actually had talent and could rap like he did when he was in the G-Unit camp.

The song is hot in my opinion because listeners can easily relate the lyrics to their individual situations.

It's a club banger with a rock edge to it that automatically makes you turn up the radio when the song comes on.

Well,well,well what have we come to. It appears that a lot of R&b and Hip-Hop artist are not selling like they used to. Case and point lets start with 50 Cents, he selling but his CD's are not flying off the shelf as they have done in the past.

Then there is Ashanti whose record sales have been disappointing and slow. And a real shocker is that not even Usher is selling like he used to and he threatened to fire his manager and hire his mother back.

Last but not least is the fact that new artist like The Dream are also not selling and posting disappointing numbers of record sales.

I think that the Hip-hop generation has grown up and is looking for quality. They have rewarded Lil Wayne with double platinum status for his very created efforts in creating The Carta III.

A lot of industry insiders believed that Weezy wouldn't sell because his music had been downloaded about 1.4 million times.

But the downloads only made people want to go out and get there own copies.

Whatever the reason artist better get back on their grind an get quality music to the masses before it's too late.

Busta Gets Dropped From Label

Recently I had a talk with the heir to thewooreport about the 50 Cent and Young Buck situation.

I agreed with what 50 was saying it obvious that Young Buck wasn't handling his business the way he was supposed to.

50 made it clear that he could not believe that after every thing he did for Buck. Buck would turn around a slap him in the face and say, you know what he said.

My dun said it sounded like I was on 50's dick, but I disagreed and told him that he was hating, because 50 calls it how he See's it.

When I heard the phone call that 50 recorded I immediately knew what Young Buck was saying. He was admitting that he messed up his relationship with 50 and his paper.

It is absolutely getting hot outside because everyone from rappers to ball players are beefing with each other.

I was listing to the radio a heard that shaq was at a club and started to rap about how Koby ruined his marriage by snitching on him. He then went on to say that he had some STD and that Koby couldn't win without shaq.

Shaq then recites what I think is a pretty disrespectful hook "how does my ass taste."

I am sure that Koby is thinking of something to say back to Shaq. We will wait and see.

It is funny to hear the stupid things that people say while beefing but I hope that no one takes any of it seriously and uses violence.

Lill Wayne Sells Amillion, Rappers Fued

Lil Wayne has been blazing the charts with his new project the Carter Three. It is a compilation of songs which violate most of the formulas of making music.

Lollipop, Amillion, and my favorite Mr. Carter are creative and hot. He has already sold over a million copies in the first weeks of his release.

While Lil Wayne has sold a million units other rappers have been getting at each other. Case and point a young rapper was attacked by a rap icon who labelled the younger rapper garbage and the down fall of rap. Then in retaliation the younger rapper called the icon an old man who was out of touch with the times.

In support of the younger rapper a platinum selling rapper said that there are no rules in rap and then praised the younger rappers creativity.

And finally on a down note comic George Carlin died and he will be missed by everyone who enjoyed his creative humor.

R. Kelly Money Well Spent

Today R. Kelly was found not guilty of all fourteen counts against him. His legal team successfully placed a reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury.

So, after seven years of legal wrangling the jury acquitted him because everyone including the victim was saying that the girl in the video was not her.

But the clench er on the verdict was that R. Kelly had a mole on his back and the man in the video didn't.

Kelly has been given a second chance and I hope that he takes full advantage of it and mend his ways.

So lets see whats been going on while I have been revamping. First it looks like R.Kelly might leave the court room a free man because the man in the video does not have a mole on his back and R. Kelly does.

Second, Barak Obama has clenched the Democratic nomination for president and is now looking for a running mate. Hillary Clinton who keeps reminding everyone that she commands eighteen million votes because she wants to be considered for the Vice-President post.

Third, gas is almost at $4.00 per gallon and a lot of people are staying home if they really don't have to go anywhere. Maybe families will spend more time together.

Fourth and final, it has been very, very, hot and air conditioning has become man and woman's best friend. Stay cool.

The R. Kelly Trial Takes A Dramatic Turn

As everyone knows R. Kelly is on trial for his alleged involvement with an underage female.

The jury was selected and the trial is underway but R. Kelly's defense lawyer has come up with a last minute witness who can undermine the testimony of the prosecutions witness.

The unknown witness who was not on the prosecutions list was to scheduled to testify. But at the last moment the judge Vincent Gaughan adjourned the proceedings for the day.

Talib Kweli In Africa

I was surfing BET.COM and stopped to watch a Talib Kweli video called Hostile Gospel Pt.1(Deliver Us). The video was fire and shot in Lagos Nigeria.

It was easy to see what Kweli was trying to do. He chose to create his vision in Nigeria because he wanted to show the differences between the US and Africa.
Then he goes on to rap about the differences in the US between the majority and the minorities.

I especially like the line about white teens who want to be black and rap. Most of his lyrics are delivered while riding on the back of a scooter as the driver makes his way through Lagos.

It's interesting that Kweli went to Africa to address the ills of American Society. The images and lyrics are powerful.

Talib Kweli is the most socially focused rapper that I have heard in a long time and in my opinion one of the best in the game.

Mexican Donkey Released From Jail

In a town in Mexico called Tuxtla Gutierrez justice truly applies to all. A donkey who had been jailed for three days was released.

The donkey's name is Blacky and was jailed for biting and kicking two men near a ranch outside of the town.

Officials freed the donkey after its owner paid a fine of $36 and $115 hospital bill of the men, who suffered bites to the chest and a broken ankle. The owner must also pay $480 to each man for missed work days.

The victims said that the donkey bit Genaro Vasquez,63, in the chest on Sunday and then kicked 52-year old Andres Hernandez as he tried to assist the first victim only to have his ankle fractured.

According to police it took a half dozen men to control the enraged beast.

This is not the first time Chiapas police have put animals in jail. They arrested a bull in March for eating corn crops and destroying two wooden vending stands.

Not even dogs escape the police. In 2006 a dog was locked up for 12 days after biting someone. The dogs owner was fined $18.

The story while incredible to believe is true and was reported by the Associated Press.

It appears that ex-basketball star Charles Barkley is in a trouble with the a gambling establishment in Las Vegas Nevada.

The Wynn Hotel and Casino stated that Barkley owes them $400,000 in gambling debt because they extended him credit and he failed to repay.

After failing to repay the Nevada's prosecutors office said that they may charge Barkley criminally for not repaying the debt.

The markers or loans that were extended are like checks and Barkley would
face 10 years for each offense if the case ended up in court.

Fortunately Barkley is not going to let it go that far and make good on the markers. Barkley said all they had to do was call him and he would have taken care of it.

Barkley stated that he knows he has a gambling problem but its OK because he can afford it.

The prom is supposed to be a special occasion but unfortunately for Marche Taylor Texas school officials felt that her dress was to revealing and violated the schools dress code.

She was told that she was not allowed into the prom which was being held at the Marriott hotel.

After being told she could not enter by a school official, they began to argue back and forth. But, Taylor was still refused.

Taylor then offered to cover up but the answer from the school official was still no.

So, Taylor asked the next logical question. Could she have her money back? That's when everything went supernova and the cops placed the bracelets on her.

During an interview by KHOU-TV in Houston, Marche Taylor said that the official said, you are not wearing underwear. The young lady said she was but it was really none of the any body's business.

Jury selection has begun in Chicago for the R. Kelly trial. Kelly is charged with child pornography. The defense has been delaying the trial because they feel that the amount of publicity that the case has gotten over the last six years makes it impossible to locate a jury that would be completely impartial.

Everyone in Chicago knows R. Kelly from either his music or the charges against him. And because of this it will be very difficult to pick a jury. The main factors in this case are the issues of racial prejudice and underage sexual relations. Both subjects fit for a film.

The experts say that a smart jury is Kelly's best bet. His lawyers say that they want people who understand Photo shop and how you edit tapes. People who don't just blindly trust the FBI.

You know what I like about the net? The ability to watch the trailers of any movie you want.

I chose Iron Man Because its been receiving good reviews. Most of us remember Iron Man from the comic book or the television.

Robert Downy Jr. has reprised the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man. But for those who have not seen or heard of Iron Man, I will now educate you on the origin of the Super Hero.

Iron Man was created by super hero creator Stan Lee in March of 1963. When first created Iron Man was a member of Superhero's called the Avengers but he has also appeared by himself.

Now to the 2008 movie. Robert Downy Jr. plays Tony Stark an arms building and dealing billionaire who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon.

Instead he builds a high tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Then he uncovers a fiendish global plot and vows to protect the world.

The cast includes many well known names such; as Terrence Howard who plays Stark's best friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges who plays Stark's right hand, Samuel L. Jackson, and Hillary Swank.

Texas Man Takes $360 Billion Check To The Bank

Today lets talk about a dumb ass move made by a Fort Worth Texas man. Apparently a man named Charles Ray Fuller,21 attempted to cash a stolen check for billions of dollars.

Mr. Fuller handed the check to a teller at the Chase Bank who did a double take after noticing the check was for $360 Billion. The check was made out to "Fulla Comp and Entertainment'" which was a record company Fuller wanted to start, according to a NBC 5 news report.

The police said that Fuller stole the check form Paula Prettyman, the mother of the thief's girlfriend, Andrea Greer.

Everyone is shocked by the incident and believed that Fuller has lost his mind. Including his grandmother.

Fuller was arrested with a gun and marijuana in his possession. He told NBC 5 News that he denies trying to cash the $360 Billion dollar check. But he did have the Marijuana and the gun.

MC Serch Is Back

It was about 10pm and I was channel surfing. Nothing on as usual but I came across MC Serch and YoYo.

They were on a show called Ego Trip's Miss Rap Supreme. The show is about female rappers from all over. In the first episode Search and YoYo watch as each of the contestants auditions by spiting a few bars.

Some are good and some just did not need to show up. After listing to all the contestants, the shows hosts pick 10 who will live in a house and compete against each other.

What's notable about the show is that Khia who sang "My Neck, My Back" auditioned for the show and got on. Serch brings up the fact that she sold 800,000 records and asks her what did she learn. She replied, she learned that you have to keep on grinding.

The show has been on since April 14TH but there is still a lot of episodes left. It's on VH-1 at 10pm so check it out.

I hate to see anyone go to jail but the government has a thing about not giving them there cut.

Wesly is going to a federal prison which is usually like country club. Most residents play Tennis and the cells are unlocked.

But on the good side Snipes fans will be rushing to see the next Blade movie made after he is released.

Detectives Found Not Guilty By Judge

The three detectives took a chance and put their fate in the hands of the judge. Supreme Court Justice Arthur Cooperman found theme not guilty of all charges.

Many people beleived that the guilty verdict would cause trouble for the city. But so far nothing has surfaced.

The reason for aquitting the Detectives was that the prosecution did not prove their case and it's witnesses were not credible. Judge Cooperman found that the Police response with respect to each defendant was not found to be criminal.

In English the detectives did make a mistake but the mistake did not come about out of a criminal act. The actions they took were based on the information that they had at the time. The judge believed that the Detectives believed that there was a gun present.

Mayor Bloomberg said it best there are no winners in a trial like this. An innocent man lost his life, a bride lost her groom, two daughters lost their father, and a mother and a father lost their son.

The Sean Bell story is a tradgedy for all involved.

Dave Chappelle Sued By Ex-Manager

The weathers breaking and where am I inside working on today's story. I thought to my self I have not heard anything about Dave Chappelle in a while. And then I came across a website called BlackNews.com where low and behold there was his picture dressed as Prince from his skit with Charley Murphy.

It appears that Dave's former manager is trying to get what he feels he is owed. In 2005 Dave's former manager Mustafa Abuelhijia settled a lawsuit with Chappelle after he was fired.

The settlement said that Abuelhijia was to receive 10% of the profits from 'Dave Chappelle's Block Party', 10% of the money that Chappelle got from seasons 2, 3, and 4 of the Chappelle Show' and 10% of the money he received for the comedy special
'For What It's Worth.

So far, Abuelhijia claims he has not received anything from Chappelle. In a new development the former manager has filed a new lawsuit in New York claiming that Chappelle has taken in close to 1.2 million since they signed the settlement and he feels he is entitled to 10% of it.

I think that the former manager is entitled to the 2005 settlement money but he has no claim to the recent money that Chappelle has made.

A large majority in the music industry support his decision to record such a song, however, their are many of the older generation who will find the song quite Offensive.

Recently, I was watching the Upn network and came across Flavor Flav's new Show "Under one roof".

The show is about one brother who is rich and the other is a hood rat called

The episode that I caught was idiotic. Tiny Lister played an ex-con who is in love with Cali Cal. So, they stage a fake funeral and naturally it dose not work.

In my opinion the show is terrible and probably won't make it. I have to say that I am a big fan of Flavor Flav but this was not the correct vehicle for him to come back with.

Remy Ma To Be Sentenced April 23rd

First I would like to say to my WooReportReaders that I do not usually write to my blog on Sundays but because I missed a day I thought it only fair to comment on Remy Ma's situation.

If you are not aware Remy Ma was convicted of shooting her best friend in the stomach over $2,0000 to $3,000 missing from Remy's Purse. Her lawyer claimed that the shooting was an accident but the judge and jury didn't believe her story. Then the judge ordered that she be held until her sentencing. We are now three days away from learning her fate. Remy Ma could receive up to 25 years in jail.

She is understandably nervous and asked her fans to go to her myspace page. Once on the page she asks her fans to write the judge and ask for a lesser sentence.

Remy Ma is in a bad position that she caused herself. While some who hate her like to see her on the ropes. I have not heard the final bell. My advice to Remy Ma is to pray to her higher power.

Today in Newark, N.J. at the Federal Court House Ex- Mayor Sharp James was found guilty mail fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Basically James was found guilty of steering his one time girl friend Tameka Riley into purchasing property from the city at a low price and then reselling it for a huge profit.

Reilly was also found guilty of tax Fruad and tax evasion. She also faces the charge of falsifying her welfare application to receive rental subsidy.

Sharp James was very upset and left via the rear federal building door. He faces up to twenty years in federal prison.

Slim Thug Released By Interscope/Star Trak At Own Request

Recently rapper Slim Thug asked to be released from his deal at Interscope/Star Trak records. Not only was the request granted but he will be free by the weeks end.

Slim Thug said they came up with an agreeable settlement and their are no bad feelings.

Slim was unhappy with his album "Already Platinum" had been handled as well as the constant staff turnover at interscope.

Slim Thug is preparing to release his group album "The Boss Hog Outlawz" as well as his second solo album the "Boss of all Bosses". Both projects are due out by the end of the year and will be released on Koch Records.

Excellent move Slim you can make a lot more money with Koch than you would have with Interscope.

Ray-J has also chosen to release his new material on Koch Records.

So, go out and support your favorite artist.

KKK Joke Gets Ohio Troopers Suspended

Over the years minorities have been the recipients of Police brutality. From Rodney King to Sean Bell, police officers appear to not care very much for minorities.

Recently, an Ohio state trooper put on a KKK costume while on duty the day before the Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The trooper Craig Franklin said he was only clowning around, like comedian Dave Chappelle. However, his superiors felt that it was a joke that went too far.

The trooper then allowed himself to be photographed on Jan. 20TH with a white cloth on his shoulders, a white paper mask and a pointed paper hat. But big problem was he was also in full uniform with his police radio, gun, and holster on.

Then to add insult to injury a fellow trooper Sgt. Eric Wlodarsky, took the cell phone picture and transmitted it. Franklin has been suspended without pay, and Wlodarsky has been demoted to trooper.

Highway Patrol investigators began looking into the troopers' actions after receiving an anonymous letter with two photos of Franklin in his homemade klan attire. Both troopers worked at a post in Sandusk, Ohio.

A third trooper was suspended for one day for receiving the picture via text message and failing to report it. He also forwarded the photo to a subordinate.

The Ohio trooper's have proven that law enforcement needs diversity awareness training and that they do not respect the minority population which they police.

The Jackson Five Struggle To Survive

I was surfing my one of my favorite website Bet.com and came across a disturbing article which said that the famous "Jackson Five" are broke and struggling to survive.

The New York Post printed a story that said that the Jackson's are broke because of Michael extravagant shenanigans.

The story then states that Marlon is stocking shelves at Von's grocery store; Randy is fixing cars at a friend's garage; Jackie is struggling trying to manage his son's rap career; Tito is struggling as a jazz guitarist making $100 for a gig if he's lucky; and Jermaine is just going back and forth between living with his parents and girlfriend.

What happened to all the money that they made back in the day. According to reports they signed to Michael's MJJ label, but refused to release any of their material. They also tied a lot of their money up, while paying for Michael's legal fees when fighting those allegations of child molestation.

So, where is Michael? In my opinion he should be the first person trying to help his brothers out. He could release some of the material they made while on his label.

It appears that the girls are smarter than the boys because even the Jackson with the least talent Latoya is estimated to be worth millions.

Finally, where is Janet she helped her boyfriend Jermaine Dupree when he had income tax problems.

They can always make an album on their own or maybe write a book together about what happened to all their money.

R. Kelly AkA Golden Braids

I was thinking to myself that I don't think that I have written anything about R. kelly. His music appears to have taken a back seat to the urinating on an underage girl charge.

So, what does R. Kelly do he reinvents himself and returns with Golden braids. He has died his hair the color of gold.

But R. Kelly is not the first to dye his hair you have Dru Hill, Samuel Jackson, and of course M&M the rapper.

I think that while it may not be original it is different and distracting, if you comprehend my meaning. Now we know it definitely was not him in the video.

OK R you gave us your new look, now give us the music.

Ray Jay's Back

Ray Jay is once again doing his thing on the music scene. He seems to hit us off with good songs like "One Wish" and then disappears leaving his fans wanting more.

Which brings us to his newest album entitled "All I feel". The first single from the album called "Sexy can I" appears to be doing well rapper Young Burg is also on the new track.

I checked out the video on You Tube and it was Hood. Ray Jay starts his video out with him driving in a Lamborghini. Then he cuts to his crib where Champagne and eye candy are everywhere.

Ray J has kept it very Hollywood with this video. The album hit stores on the 8Th of April. My recommendation is cop it.

It's good to see a brother trying to do something positive.

Stacey Dash On The Cover Of King Magazine

I was surfing the net and came across a Picture of Stacey Dash on the cover of King Magazine. She was perfect and definitely has a good future behind her.

I don't think I need to say more, just in case you don't know who Stacey Dash is. She is the sister of Damon Dash and star of the Clueless movie and series.

Without further fanfare here she is. Did I mention she was 42 years old. Dam!!!

50 Cents Baby's Moma Sues For Mansion

According to the wire service (AP) 50 Cent is being sued by his baby's moma Shinqua Tompkins because he is trying to evict her and their ten year old son from their multimillion-dollar home.

5o Cent has been given a notice filed by his ex-girlfriend that she is suing him for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. Apparently 50 promised to give Tompkins and son Marquise a home.

Tompkin's lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, said that 50 Cent had promised her the home up until the closing. Then he decided not to put it in Tompkins name. Now he is trying to evict her along with his son.

50 paid 2.4 million for the home, which is one of the largest on Long Island, in the neighborhood of Dix Hills.

What 50 Cent is doing sounds unthinkable but she did try to get him for $15,000 per month in support. Im sure it left a bad taste in his mouth.

50 and his ex should have been able to work that out between themselves without lawyers. Tompkin's lawyer points out that his client helped nurse 50 back to health when he was shot multiple times and spent 13 days in the hospital.

50 may have promised her a house but Im sure not a Mansion.

While researching this story I found that there are no photo's of Shaniqa Tompkins available on the web.
